Norton Anti-Virus has a license or subscription problem

Hi,

My  Norton Anti-Virus account  is set to automatic renewal and my bank account has been charged by Norton. Yet I have no renewal code nor do I have any downloads left. When I ask Norton to renew the subscription, it hangs up at this message : "Norton Anti-Virus was unable to identify the network adapter used to connect to the Internet". So I have red  warning on my Norton in the taskbar warning of a subscription problem.

I am really not in a mood to get into a chat online with any of the Norton support help. I just want what I have paid for. Google has not been of help either. Any help? Thanks.
