Something odd started happening with my Norton AntiVirus this week.
Normally, when I boot up my computer, Norton AntiVirus automatically starts up and shows up in the autostart icons in the lower right-hand corner.
Early this week, that stopped happening. I took a look in the Task Manager and Norton wasn't listed. I went to the Desktop Shortcut for NAV and double-clicked it; the application opened normally and operated normally. At first I figured it was just some isolated unique quirk.
But the next two times I booted the computer the same thing happened. It looks like this is a permanent change in NAV's behavior.
I know that NAV regularly updates itself. Is this a deliberate change in NAV's behavior that was made in this week's updates? Is this the way NAV is now supposed to operate? Or is something wrong?
It occurred to me that perhaps one of the settings somehow got incorrectly configured, so I've attached screen-shots of my current settings. Can you tell me if they all look like they're supposed to? Are one of these settings wrong?
