Norton Antispam and Outlook

I use NIS and Outlook 2007 on a Windows 10 pc. This week after an update to NIS I noticed that email that I had identified as SPAM are no longer automatically moved to the Norton Antispam folder. I opened a case with Norton which was escalated to level 2. I was told that Norton antispam no longer works with the ports that Verizon and Google use in Outlook account settings. Verizon and Google use incoming port 995 and outgoing port 465. Verizon said these are universal ports and they really can't change the port just for my email account to the ports that Norton now supports -- incoming 110 and outgoing 25. If anyone else has this problem and was provided a solution then I'd really like to know the solution.
