When I purchased Norton Internet Security product nearly 6months ago, the website stated that the "Norton AntiSpam Outlook add-in for 64Bit Outlook client" was available as part of the purchase. Whilst installing onto my 3 machines, as per license, it was a surprise to see that 2 of the machines that had outlook 2010 32 bit, norton addin was working fine.
However the 64Bit version wasnt. I called Norton support and after nearly 2 hours to get it working, it was finally admited by support that the 64 bit addon wasnt available (the website falsely advertised that it was) and would be ready in about 2mths (after that call). It is now six months and I still cant find the addon for the 64 bit version.
First i have to ask is: Is the addon ready and available and if so, where can i download it?
Second, if it isnt ready.... why not!!!
It cant be that hard, but in the meantime i still keep getting spam for that version. Also, do not give me the standard response of install a 32bit version of the outlook unless you are willing to pay me the money i need to purchase a license so i can install a verision to suit Symantec's inability to provide an adverstised product in full.
so, i hope to hear from someone about this shortly.
