Norton AntiSpam Outlook Plugin - Not Customizable?

I'm trying to maximize the real estate on a small monitor and have run into what seems an annoying incompleteness of this plugin.

It appears there is no way to remove a button, change from "Icon + Text", or modify this toolbar in any way.  Am I missing something?

 

I'm using Win 7 sp1 & Outlook 2007.  The width of the Norton AntiSpam Outlook Plugin is just enough to require 2 lines for all my commands.  In Outlook's "Add or Remove Buttons" menu the Norton AntiSpam Outlook Plugin shows up, but is grayed out.

It seems like a take it or leave it plugin.  I'd rather have the additional protection, but am I correct that this plugin was written

without any options or customizations or resize or memory of where it's been placed available???   Sloppy????
