Norton antispam will not integrate with Outlook 2010 - No toolbar in outlook 2010

Norton antispam (Norton Internet Security Suite 2010)will not integrate with Outlook 2010 32 BIT  - No toolbar in outlook 2010

When I go to Client Intergration, Outlook is grayey out and Outlook Express is checked. I do not have Outlook Express installed on this machine. I tried unchecking everything and rebooting and it still will not let me select Outlook

Any ideas how to fix this problem.

I also went to add ins and there is no option  to add the Norton anti spam plugin.

Please advice.

Can you please check if the toolbar loads, however in the settings it is grayed out.

By me with the latest Norton 360, which is built on Norton Internet Security 2010, the toolbar loads and works perfectly with Outlook 2010, only in the settings is it grayed out.

No I see no toolbar, so I can assume it  doesn't load.

Thanks for your answer.

Is any time frame available for the update you mention?

I find it strange that another posting says that the integration works perfectly with Norton 360.

It's not perfect :D. Outlook just somehow detects the plugin's files or the registry keys, and somehow it loads the toolbar. But in the program's settings, like by you with NIS, Outlook's integration options are grayed out, because the Norton program detects an incomatible Outlook version. So I can say that in the Norton program everything works "fine" as it should, and Outlook works badly.

In the NIS 2011 public beta program's board you can check some post about the Outlook 2010 compatible plugin version. It still has some issues that has to be fixed first before any release. I'm sure when these errors are fixed, and Symantec tested, that it's working with the previous versions as well, they will release it. And it will be soon, as from now many user will update to Office 2010. :)

I don't know how this is compatible with Norton 360 since I cannot get Outlook 2010 and Norton 360 v4.2.0.12 to integrate.  I have Windows 7 64-bit/Norton 360/Microsoft Office 2010 32-bit and I noticed that Outlook Express was on and Outlook was off and in grey.

Hi SthrnDixieCwgrl

Norton 360 V4 is not yet fully compatible with Office/Outlook 2010.
