Here are the 3 screen shots, there are more but these are pretty big so I just uploaded 3.
I clicked on the solved by accident, how do I remove it??
Looks like NAV is telling you it is scanning for those malware. Not that it found them
Hi technie001
Stu is right, the product is checking for possible traces of the specified threat. There is no infection. However there seems to be a minor defect since the text that usually shows says: "Scanning for traces of: Adware.XXXX", not just Adware.XXXX.
Can you please check if the following file exists on your system?
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\AntiVirus\09\01\AV.loc
Thanks!
I just noticed whenever I start a system scan, the scanner says scanning startup files and memory, and under it, it shows the file it's being scanned. I saw files named Trojanxxx.xxxx, Backdoorxxx.xxxx, Adwarexxx.xxxx where x are multiple different names. And norton doesn't say any virus/trojan/adware found. I did a search and couldn't find any of those files. Is this normal? When scanning those files, there is no path for them. It just says the name.
Thank for any help.
Could you post a screenshot?
