Norton AntiVirus 2009 and my HTTP/FTP server computer

Found it.  Figured I'd check the Windows Firewall.  Guess what?  That install reset my Firewall settings.  Apache was removed from the Exceptions list and Firewall was blocking it.  I guess the installer can't recognize applications added to the Exceptions list by browsing for it (?).  You might want to check your code in that region.

Yes, Windows Firewall was on but somehow the Apache.exe disappeared from the Exceptions list.  I'm very certain that it was there before updating to NAV 2009 - otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get there on my other computer previously which is exactly what happened afterwards.

 

I'll have to keep my eyes on that from now on. :)
