Norton AntiVirus 2011 incident

I found the following history summary that reflects a double charge between an online store order and a renewal within days apart.

 

Sept 30, 2010, $44.99, Order # VAB58981079

Oct 6, 2010, $39.99, Order # NP16740600 (NAV2011).

 

Following an assumed free upgrade offered to NAV2011, I attempted to download and install without success due to a  "missing file", as stated.  After attempting it at least 3 times, I gave up and uninstalled the existing Norton antivirus version and then successfully purchased, downloaded and installed the new NAV2011 version.  Somehow, the Sept 30, 2010 order was apparently processed due to an expiration without my knowledge until a bill was just now received for it.

 

It does not seem fair to be billed and pay double the actual cost for one year of Norton AntiVirus.  Can I request a refund of the Sept 30, 2010 renewal order since NAV2011 was later purchased and installed? 

 

I will appreciate any help with this issue.
