I had to install the new version of Norton Antivirus because my 2012 subscription expired. I ordered Norton Antivirus 2013 from Amazon as I did before with the 2012 version. I uninstalled the previous version and reinstalled North Antivirus 2013. When following the installation wizard to the end where you would activate your product the screen only stays available for seconds and then disappears. I have used the Norton removal software and done the reinstall again. I can not figure out why this isn't working for me.
The notification icons at the bottom has the Norton icon with a red X. I right click that to try and open the program and it doesn't do anything. There's a flag icon with a red X, when I click on that, it tells me my security protection is turned off and when I go to turn it on a screen pops up asking me if I trust this program and I say yes. Then nothing happens. The security protection stays turned off.
I'm so frustrated!!!
