We have completed testing our latest update of Norton AntiVirus 7.0.1 for Mac and have released via In Product Update. This update is now available in all supported languages. Customers running Norton AntiVirus for Mac 12.9 will be prompted with option "Free Upgrade Available" when "Check for Update" is run from Norton Antivirus main window. The update is also pulled down silently in the background, so you may have already been alerted to its availability.

3. How do I re-install NAV 7.0.1 in case I have uninstalled?

Known Issue with Norton Antivirus 7.0.1:
1. Few customers might encounter Error "Norton AntiVirus cannot be opened because of a problem" after upgrading to NAV 7.0.1 due to improper upgrade. Please Uninstall Norton using removal tool and reinstall from https://norton.com/latestnavmac download link.
2. In some cases, product name under Manage.norton.com portal might displayed as "Norton Security" instead Norton Antivirus. Issue being investigated.
3. If Norton Antivirus 12.x customer is not registered with Norton account, after the In Product upgrade to v7.0.1, the customer needs to sign-up with a new Norton account in the product. In this scenario, the manage.norton.com portal would show device as “Product cannot be remotely managed.” This is a known issue and is being investigated.
