I am running Antivirus 11.0 on an intel Mac running Snow Leopard. I am using this product with a license from my university under the name "End-Point Security". LiveUpdate is running every few hours and most of the time does not download anything.Every so often it does download a new virus definition file but most of the time it just demands my attention by bouncing its icon in the dock. It seems to ignore that I set the scheduler to connect only once a week. No preferences seem to apply to this runaway.
How to stop this needless use of resources? Is it a bug?
