norton antivirus illegally charges folks

In 2006 I bought my first NAV for $50. As I was hooking it into the Internet, a virus downloaded to my computer. Norton said they are so sorry but it happened befor they were responsible so it would cost me $100 to get you to fix it. So I paid $100. Eleven months later, another virus popped up. The tech said it was located in the system restore folder which NAV does not scan so you are not responsible but for $100 you will fix it for me. Two months later I paid another $50 to renew Norton. Six months later another virus downloaded into system restore. I couldnt afford another $100 so I had a local guy do it for $50. He removed Symantec from my computer and installed Avast, Malware Bytes, and spybot search and destroy which are all free. Six months later you charged my card to renew a program I no longer had, wanted or requested. My bank took it off my account and charged it back. Symantec charged me $300 for 18 months of anti virus protection. In three years since I dumped you I havent had a single virus and havent paid a dime for the AV protection. It is wrong to charge people for things YOU ARE responsible for. It is wrong to charge people for services you are NOT providing. Its fraud. I am posting my grievance to every review board and complaint center on the web. The way I look at it, you owe me $350 and you shouldnt be allowed to operate your business until you are willing to stand behind your product
