As a customer of Centurylink I am able to install (and activated) a version(22.9.3.13) of Norton antivirus online on a small laptop. After doing so I wanted to make sure that I was up to date so I requested a "Live Update" from the app. After downloading, installing, and rebooting, I checked "Live Update" again. I have done this same activity many times with in an hour and there is always an update. Never are they the same size and some times I have to re-boot other times not. They never never the same number of updates to install. This has consumed significant amounts of disk space, in gigabytes. I don't think it will ever stop providing updates if asked. What Gives?
Also now after I've done the updates it now tells me I have to Activate!!!! this is very irritating. I've had this issue on another laptop and had to uninstall Norton, and the centurylink installer and re-install both. It is asking for a pin that centurylink will not provide.
