Some status on the NAV 11.0.3 patch:
1 – the LiveUpdate patch is live. If you currently have Norton AntiVirus 11 on your machine, run LiveUpdate to grab the new files. If you have uninstalled Norton AntiVirus 11, please re-install and run LiveUpdate. Please note that due to changes in the way Mac OS X 10.6 deals with kernel extensions, you will have to wait longer during the update process—the scrollbar will not move and it will look like it the installer is hung—just hang in there. We regret the delay, but it’s a change Apple made.
2 –This patch not only updates Norton AntiVirus 11, but also updates the antivirus portion in Norton Internet Security.
Please note that if you are installing Norton Internet Security, you will have to run LiveUpdate after you reboot to install the NAV 11.0.3 patch, then restart to have it “kick in”.
