(as explained, it's running on an old computer with less power : i want it so)

anybody can help ?! (problem still open)

thanks in advance

Which Operating System are you using?

Cheers,

I see you have ADSL so you really need a good security set up

my os = windows xp

the problem is still open :

where in windows or NAV can i "disable alerts from windows security center" ?

thanks in advance

Please see the following document from Microsoft on the subject:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/security/internet/sp2_disablescalerts.mspx

i've got norton anti virus & internet security 2004 (updated of course) + my adsl (internet) on the old computer with nav 2004 is not automatic : i have to connect the pc manually (and i want this so)

when the pc is not connected, i receive an error message which says (digested and translated from french:)

<< menace...

open your norton antivirus programm...

against redundancy, disable alerts from windows security center... >>

i did not find in both norton anti virus and windows security center where i can disable such messages?!

thanks in advance for any help

You are still working with a very old program.

Please try to upgrade to 2008 version
