Norton Back Up Space 360

Please can someone help. I have been absolutely ages talking to one adviser then another at Norton and the problem still not resolved. Norton say i have used all my backup space and I don't think I have. I paid £47 for them to sort out the problem and was assured that what they were doing would solve it and also make my computer run faster. Still have the red alert that back space is needed, I might as well have paid for more space instead of all this messing around. I don't seem to be getting anywhere and would want to complain higher up the heirachy but can't even find the way of doing that. Been Norton Customer for 8 years and this is the first problem that has not been resolved..I feel they should now give me more back up space as they have messed me about so much. Have a problem with my eyes so cannot spend ages online whilst they still mess about. Spoken to people in the USA, the Phillipines and probably elsewhere no result

Thanks

Liz.

I had the same problem so I contacted Norton via Online Chat.

They help me Delete my old backup files. One thing to note I felt 2GB is very limited for my Backup needs so I use a external drive to do my backup using Windows File history and make images using File recovery.

I also have some data on various cloud storage places Dropbox, Skydrive and others. Most of my data is backed up on the encrypted external drive.

So I used Norton online backup to back up few things due to limit.

If this is not your main backup then delete the older files by:

1.clicking backup

2. manage backup

3. click the "where" tab

4. At the bottom left is delete backed up files

Warning you should not do that if that is your primary backup also you should consider cost and size of other plans. I personally think the online backup is too expansive in the long run but its up to you.
