Sorry....IDK
~ my Norton Backup Drive readily toggles on & off.

~ and you're in a Windows Admin user account.
Maybe, as test:
toggle Norton Backup Drive off -> Restart (not Shut down) machine.
toggle Norton Backup Drive on -> Restart (not Shut down) machine.
Yes, it is turned on but there is no hint of a drive in my file explorer in Devices and Drives nor in the Network folder.

Please confirm from Windows Admin user account ... Norton Backup Drive On

As long as you have the Norton Security with Backup (Premium), there will be a Norton Backup Drive shown in Windows Explorer. Even if you do not use the feature.
Did you check to see if there were any files showing in the drive? If you only deleted the files/folders and not the backup set, you would probably still see the backup set listed. Double clicking on that would show any files/folders that are in that backup set. If it shows no files there, or empty folders, it is not using any space on your C drive.
Thank you for replying to my concern. Appreciated. When I had the previous version, and after I disabled the Backup feature, I re-enabled the backup feature so I could delete backups. I then deleted the backup files, in their entirety. But, as I mentioned the backup drive stayed on C drive. I don't know what else to do besides having deleted the backup files and I disabled that backup feature as well in previous version. I will go back to previous version and I'll try again, but I don't hold much hope. I realize I shouldn't of used C: drive for backups. Thank you for that suggestion. :)
The update that gave you the Norton Security Ultra label was a problem update. It is recommended that you reinstall your Norton product from a fresh downloaded copy from your Norton Account. That will again show the correct Norton product for your current subscription. It will again show the Backup section on the main screen, as it should.
Just disabling the backup does not remove any existing backups, if that is what you are referring to. If you have created the backups on your C drive, which is not recommended, you will be able to delete them. Let us know if this is what you want to do, and we can give more direction.
