Norton Basic

For 12 years we have provided Norton as an exclusive antivirus product for our customers. We only endorse Norton Antivirus Basic. We have had far too many situations where antivirus firewalls cause computers to run slow or block printer shares, remote desktop connections, PXE boot devices etc. We strongly recommend that users keep the Windows firewall active and enabled. Our situation is that Norton has announced the discontinuation of the Basic product for 2015 and there will no longer be a Norton Basic for 2015. We will now have to move thousands of customers to another solution that offers an Antivirus without a firewall. Is there no resolution for Norton to assist us in keeping our customers protected while maintaining our "Best Practices" recommendations of using the Windows firewall?
