Their lack of a response after this long is not acceptable. It would be bad for a small company, let alone a giant like Symantec who has been in internet security software for an extremely long time.
It’s a shame because I switched to Norton years ago and, till this latest version came out causing this major issue, I have been satisfied with the software.
Now, unless they fix this issue soon, I will have to evaluate alternatives when my 1 year subscription to Norton 360 Premium expires. The workaround of disabling Norton’s ‘email security’ temporarily whenever I use the impacted application (the app which gets SSL errors) leaves my machine vulnerable during that time period.
