Norton bootable disk

I have Norton IS 2012 installed , it says i can use the Norton IS 2012 cd also as a bootable disk for if your computer is heavily infected.

But how i do it , i see u can also download it but my Norton cd is also 1 ?

If my computer is infected , and i put the Norton cd in it , and restart , does it say '' press any key to boot from Norton cd '' ?

Or is it different ?

anybody ?

I don't know if this has been suggested already, but it would be a great help if NIS would offer to make the NBR CD during the initial installation, and add a link in the UI to make the CD later on.  It would also be helpful if LiveUpdate would check to see if the latest version of the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool is installed.  The NBR CD is an essential part of the package and it may not be possible after the system is compromised to download and burn the CD.

Hi Victek,

There is  aplace to make suggestions which will be reviewed by Norton employees and also other users.  Please see the Welcome section on this board for more info:  http://community.norton.com/t5/Product-Suggestions/bd-p/Suggestions
