Hello, I have a home build WIN7 system upgraded to WIN10. I am using NIS, and the Norton Bootable Recovery tool version 7.1.
When run to create a DVD, the tool will not recognise the BD/DVD Combo drive, a Samung TSST DVDWBD SH-B123L as a writable device.
Here is the read and write capabilities according to speccy:
"Capabilities Random Access, Supports Writing, Supports Removable Media
Read capabilities CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-RAM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, BD-R, BD-ROM, BD-RE
Write capabilities CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL
"
Note that I already had a chat session recently on this issue, and the rep had remote control to see the issue, and confirmed and agreed it was a product bug. I have had no email or confirmation on this yet, as regards bug fixing activity, so I have documented the issue here. TD47
