My newly created and updated Norton Bootable Recovery Tool scan fails with it on a USB flash drive on my Windows 7 system. And when I use the command prompt to run the NTFS file system check tool, ( chkdsk /f ), it says unable to run due to that drive partition is write protected, so then read only. So do I need to boot to a partition tool to fix this issue or what ?
