Norton Bootable Recovery Tool Wizard for 2011 won't create .iso file

Hi,

I'm currently running Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop with Norton Internet Security 2011 which I purchased as a download. I'm trying to create the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool CD. Everytime I select either the first option, burn the files to CD, or the second option, create iso, both options fail on my computer very quickly and I don't see a log anywhere saying why it's not working. I don't have a usb device so I can't test the third option.

I've also chatted online with technical support twice trying to find if there is a full .iso version that I can download so I can at least burn it to CD, but the only one I can find online is for Norton 360 which is not the poduct I own. I've even searched these forums and I haven't found a solution posted that solves my problem.

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Do you receive any error message?

Are you connected to the Internet through a proxy server? Norton Bootable Recovery Tool does not support the Internet access that is configured through a proxy server. We recommend that you connect to the Internet directly without using any proxy server when you download or update Norton Bootable Recovery Tool.

You can find the steps to download and run the Norton bootable recovery tool in the following KB article:
