I wondered if anyone had experience with the new (?) Norton Bootable Recovery tool?
It says it needs an NIS 2011 license key to function ... me ... I'm @ 2010 ....

Hi NCHoser
You should download the NBRT for your version from here
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/globalmaps/recoverytool.jsp
The one you have is for the NIS2011 Beta.
Thanks MDT!
If a network connection is present, do you know if the bootable ISO will download new virus definitions when launched?

Hi NCHoser
It will, but only on a hard wired connection - it will not do so wirelessly.
