Norton Broke My Browser

If this isn't fixed by tomorrow then I'll uninstall Norton and put it in the trash.

I can't USE FIREFOX ANYMORE.   At the moment I'm at work trying to view a PDF using Firefox - but I can't because Norton screwed everything up.

What the FLIP do I do to FIX this?

This is absolutely ridiculous.  I hate Norton.

Okay, I think I fixed it - by clicking a thing that looks like a puzzle piece (upper right hand corner of Firefox) and then removing the extension associated with Norton.      So, Norton 360 lives for one more day.

Is there a solution to get my browser back?    Why can't Norton just undo the freakin' mess it created - without involving all of my time and effort to un-screw up the mess Norton made?   It's looking more and more like uninstalling Norton is the answer.   What a heap o' dung.

looks to me like thats a safe search add on install , kinda like after some build/pathces you get a imstall this or that on the browser ( for there browser add ons)

its not firefox its norton doing that

If you are seeing this browser tab as some block to your browsing, that is not what is happening. When Norton updates 360, certain updates cause this screen to be displayed in your browser. Just close that tab and you can continue to use your browser as you normally would.

When did issue start & what are your current versions of both Firefox & Norton? I am still on Firefox 118.0.1 & Norton 22.23.8.4 and have no issue. Week ago FF update issued update to 118.0.2, yesterday Norton issued update 22.23.9.9, neither of which installed yet. Have you installed the latest release of either & did this then create the issue?
