Norton Changing Network from Private to Public

Opened Norton this morning - request to change to PRIVATE network - was on PRIVATE at shutdown yesterday. Clicked to change - no response. Went to change manually, clicked on PRIVATE - would not accept, just kept changing back to PUBLIC… History shows PUBLIC on first boot, restarted & now back to PRIVATE. Second time this is happened since update to 24.xx 30th September. - why does Norton change these settings for some unknown reason.? No new apps installed or no different web sites visited etc. - another GLITCH in 24.xx - why has this been forced on us when it is far from ready for release?

I received message that I was on a public network and needed to change to a private network. Same happened to with me I click on it and nothing. Two days later I see someone else mouse on my computer. What now???
