I contacted Norton Chat with a quick item. To get into chat, I entered my email and phone number, and got a case number. Upon connection in the chat, Sunny at Norton asked me for my email and phone number "for confirmation".
I know that I logged that information to get to chat but it is not available to Sunny.. only the case number goes to Sunny to protect my privacy. Therefore, Sunny is phishing and probably selling personal information.
Tell all your chat employees that they are NOT to ask customers for personal information, and take corrective action with Sunny.
