I recently followed a link someone had posted that led me to the symantec forums. I have only been making posts for about a week now and so I just realized that the symantec forums under the business section of the bar on the top of norton’s homepage get a security certificate and an https: connection even when viewing postings. I was wondering how come even when logging into my norton community forum account there is no security certificate to certify that I am logging in through a secure connection. Not that I doubt how secure the norton forums are (it would be ironic if a security company’s website was found to be insecure), I was wondering if norton has any plans to make the log-in process occur through a secured https: connection. It would give me peace of mind if norton would implement this.
