Norton ConnectSafe will sometimes block this website: http://www.espncricinfo.com/, but when I examine the report, it states that the site is safe. Are there any changes that I should make to my connection settings to allow this site? In addition Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ - is sometimes blocked and a privacy error is given.
I am going to ask the Safe Web Team to stop by this thread. The Safe Web Team also does the testing of websites for Connect Safe. I'll see if they can do the testing while using Chrome.
Further to my earlier post, I can now navigate to the site and login, but only if I turn off Safe Search. This works with either Internet Explorer or Chrome, but is highly unsatisfactory.
The 2 sites that I mentioned in my original post are not the only ones - now when I try to navigate to this site - https://www.christianconnection.com/ - I get this message:
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.christianconnection.com(for example, passwords, messages or credit cards). Learn more
NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
I appreciate that it may be Google and not Norton ConnectSafe that is blocking the site, but would appreciate any advice as to how to unblock it.
Further update: I have just tried to access the same site using Internet Explorer and can login and move around it without this message being displayed and blocking any further movement. This proves it is undoubtedly Google Chrome and not Connect Safe that is causing the problem.
