Norton Crypto not available in 360 for Windows

Hi, I have updated to 22.21.5.44 but see no Crypto option. My Windows 10 system more than meets the minimum spec (10850K/RTX 3000). Does anyone know why it is not accessible? Thanks.

I am having the same issues on a brand new Dell I7. I checked my wallet and it shows that I am idle, but yet the gui shows that it is mining and so I don't know if this is a joke or what, but I have been trying to mine for a bit now and all I get is the software shows it is mining and you check the wallet and it says your idle and so I don't know what the hell. I will just let it run knowing it is never going to work and I will keep staking my ETH on Coinbase and call that my mining, since this is never going to work.

Same problem on Windows 10 / Intel 11th Gen 11900K CPU / NVidia RTX 3060 Ti:

  • EAP Update Channel
  • LiveUpdate to 22.21.5.44
  • Multiple LiveUpdates and reboots since
  • Factory reset
  • Reinstalled Windows 10 to US locale
  • VPN to US
  • Reinstalled Norton 360 (Version 22.21.3.48)
  • Reactivated EAP successfully
  • LiveUpdate to 22.21.5.44
  • All of the above (again)

Nothing!

You need to actually be in the US with the US English version of Windows 10 on your system. Trying to use a US Windows version outside the US can be detected by Norton. Also using a VPN will be detected and blocked. If you are outside the US, you will have to wait for the release version, it it does work out.

Crypto EAP doesn’t seem to work anyway.

So far after a day, I've made 0.000000ETH. I'm wondering if anyone has actually made any ETH from this. My graphics card is definitely running, I can see it in task manager. Yet, no actual ETH has been generated. I realize it would be a minimal amount, but I would at least expect 0.000001ETH or something to even show it's doing anything.

This doesn't work for me either... I followed the instructions. Is this only for  Americans?

Gayathri_R:
Currently, for EAP, we only support English (United States) OS. Thank you.

Before you begin, make sure that ALL of the below apply to you:

  1. Operating System Locale and Language - English (United States)

Follow the instructions in the EAP forum board to get registered.   https://community.norton.com/en/forums/become-early-adopter   Be sure you read the "Before you begin" section.

Or you could wait until the testers have done their job and the feature is released to the general public.

Thanks @peterweb. Is there anyway to join? The last instructions posted in 2017 are out of date?

For now, you need to be on the EAP testing versions to see this Crypto feature. See the announcement here.   https://community.norton.com/en/forums/introducing-norton-crypto
