It's easy to imagine how your child's school might use an extra $20,000. Maybe new math books that crack when you first open them or band uniforms with an extra gold braid down the leg; field trips where you order the "good buses" or even a few SMART boards for the classrooms. $20,000 might even mean the return of a beloved teacher!
I'm so pleased to share with you the Norton Cyber Safe Challenge! To recognize October as National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Symantec is challenging parents to become more involved in their children's online lives with a contest to promote use of OnlineFamily.Norton - the newest and easiest-to-use family safety service. There is no cost to complete and of course you already know that use of OnlineFamily.Norton is free. The contest will reward a $20,000 grand prize to the US school that registers the most families to use the service. Two other prizes of $10,000 and $5,000 will go to schools with the highest percentage of families signed up. This means even smaller schools can compete!
To read the full contest rules and learn how to get started, please visit www.onlinefamily.norton.com/contest TODAY! The deadline for registering your child's school is October 31st and the end of the contest for the parents is November 15th, 2009.
