Since the last update, every day Norton is opening the main dashboard / home screen suddenly, while I am in the middle of something usually typing or clicking my mouse, and of course in the center of my screen with it in front. See screenshot of the pop up window I am talking about.
It never did this before, and now it is doing it every day.
Can anyone advise me how to stop this annoying behaviour?
Can I suggest you read all the other posts about this. I have been asked to send some files, but no told which, perhaps you may get asked as well.
I did a search before posting but apparently didn’t use the right key words. Can you provide a link to the the appropriate discussion?

fwiw ~ my understanding:
Norton released a backend fix for the Automatic UI Opening issue. Please run LiveUpdate and Restart the system to get the fix applied.

@bjm Hello! I’m in the Netherlands and I’ve had this problem (Automatic UI Opening issue) since mid-August. I let Norton run LiveUpdate automatically, which means I always have the latest updates and backend fixes, and I completely shutdown my pc every day. But the Norton home screen has still opened every day since you posted about Norton releasing a backend fix for this issue.

Please run LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine. Then – if no joy.
May be best – to document/report “issue” directly via Norton support.
