I have over 36million files on several drives, including backup.  Norton did not pause and then froze the system at 36million files.

After trying to open Chrome and then task manager, nothing happened, so I went to sleep.  Eight hours later, chrome browser was open and greyed out, and there were 3 task managers.  

I assume it is some sort of "memory leak"

Since my PC slows to a crawl, I have not done a full scan yet after 5 or so tries.
