Norton Disables Itself

Issue abstract: As the title says, Nortons disables itself every day when I start my PC up now.

Detailed description: For the past 2-3 days, Nortons has constantly disabled itself when I turn my PC on. I can be playing a game or something, log out and go to open steam up to see that it has been disabled. I am not doing this but I have noticed it when Aniimo and Elder Scrolls Online have been opened. Those have been downloaded from Steam and the ESO website, so they are not from third party websites. I do not understand how/why this is happening. I can turn it back on and it will be just fine.

Product & version number: No idea where to get this at, sorry!

OS details: Windows 11, fully updated minus 26H2 which I am not doing until it is forced.

What is the error message you are seeing? There are absolutely NO error messages popping up. I just find out it somehow gets disabled.

@demonicvampireg Is Norton being entirely disabled or just one specific feature of it? By chance are you running an “Insider Build” of Windows? If so that can be the cause of your issue. Norton DOES NOT officially support insider and other BETA OS releases.

Edited: Posting a screenshot of what you are seeing would help us help you better.

Has not happened today so far so cannot get a screenshot. Usually says something about being disabled, about it. Idk if there is a set of hotkeys or something that will disable it or what.

As for the insider build of windows, I would have said if I was. I just wait for official releases of patches.

Its probably best for you to contact support and have them take a look from their end.
