Norton displays visible window but it is invisible for remote access via Splashtop

Issue abstract: Norton displays a Window that Splashtop (remote access) cannot see so users have no idea why their buttons and input fields on screens don’t work.

Detailed description: The window is visible on the remote computer but it is invisible to Splashtop users (accessing PC remotely). The Splashtop user gets very confused because buttons and input fields don’t work because they lie under a window which is invisible to them!

Here is a picture of the Norton window which causes the problems. This window is not visible when accessing the computer remotely via Splashtop.

Windows does not show this window when you click alt-tab.
I would love to know two things:

  1. How is such a window created programmatically?
  2. What setting can be used so this window never appears?
