Hello NortonDNS users. As you may have seen, we were in the process of implementing the ability for users to add policy to block objectionable content in addition to infected or phishing sites. Unfortunately, this change was propagated across the system. As a result, Norton DNS was blocking some customers from accessing websites. However, we have now reverted these changes, and it should no longer be a problem.
If you are still seeing the issue where Norton DNS is blocking sites in error, we recommend that you do the following:
- close and reopen all browser windows
- delete your browser caches
- flush your system cache (ipconfig /flushdns)
