In the old days I used Peter Nortons products to maintain DOS. Called works or utilities etc. It would fix things like your registry etc. All the Norton products now only address on line issues. Our they out of the PC health business? Please enlighten me. Jack
Norton 360 does do some PC maintenance and Norton Utilities Premium does also. Maybe not DOS but it does some maintenance that I find useful or at least calls the Microsoft routines Peterweb has mentioned. And I do miss DOS believe it or not.
A lot of the old DOS utilities are not needed with modern hardware and OS versions. That it why there is minimal utility functions in any of Norton's products. Even the disk optimisation in Norton 360 just calls the Windows Optimise function.
