Hi i i have the latest NIS 2011 addon 5.6 toolbar and have IPS 2.0 and updated to FF 4.0.1 and have noticed when i download a commonly used exec file like firefox 4 or firefox 3.6.17 or the latest adobe flash player update 10.3 for the first time the Norton Dowload Insight file check pop up (bottom right corner ) is yellow and says - UNABLE TO GET INFORMATION ON (WHAT EVER I HAVE DOWNLOADED) Goodsync Upadte, Firefox, Flash player update etc..
I have never had this issue with Download Insight File and wonder if it is a bug with the latest big update to NIS 2011.
If i download the same file twice in a row second time it shows up green to say download file is safe.
All this was on 2 PCs running Windows 7
I then tried it on a PC using Windows XP with the latest Service Pack and the latest FF 4.0.1 and NIS 2011 Version 18.6.0.29 5.6 toolbar and IPS 2.0 and everything works fine it appears to be a incompatability issue with IPS 2.0 and the Windows 7 PCs with FF 4.0.1 installed on them i think ??????
Strange behaviour it has got me stumped.
Had a Norton support tech look at it on my Windows 7 PC remotley and he said that there would be a live update in a few days to fix the problem that was about 3 weeks ago.
