On December 5th, I ran a full system scan with Norton Internet Security. Virus Scanner found the following viruses and quarantined them:
Trojan.Maljava (2 of them)
jar_cache33480.tmp (Trojan.maljava)
Norton now says that my system is secure. According to Norton, however, the viruses had been on my computer since November 21st. My computer seems to be running fine, and I have not been notified of any unauthorized charges to my credit card...so what exactly did the viruses do?
I read the Norton definition of the Trojan.Maljava, but it didn't really shed any light on the subject. I'm not exactly technically proficient when it comes to computers, so any suggestions or insight would be appreciated.
