I would use the Norton Removal Tool. Type "Norton Removal Tool" in the Search box and Select the Download and run the Norton Removal Tool. You get to re-Install your Norton Product once you re-Start your computer after using the N.R.T..
well i got my norton from my internet provider verizon, does it matter?
No it does not matter; there is an Option after you re-start your computer after using the N.R.T. for you to re-install your Norton Product from an Internet Service Provider. You should be able to Download and Install your Norton Product free again from your I.S.P. Web Site anyway.
I would first recommend contacting our Customer Support team through the product’s Help & Support link. Or you can visit the below site to contact our free Customer Support:

If you have already done this and they could not resolve your issue, please let us know. If this is the case, please provide as many details as possible. Thanks!
