Norton Extension disabled message

Every time my child logs on to their laptop I get the message that the Norton Extension is
Disabled

Die Microsoft Edge-Erweiterung ’Norton Family’ ist deaktiviert. Aktivieren Sie sie auf dem Gerät Ihres Kinds, um die Überwachung fortzusetzen.

She does. Ot deliberately disable it but it keeps being switched off, the same happened when I tried without doing anything to the extension, having previously switched it on.

Any ideas how to resolve this?
