I am experiencing an annoying situation. I am unable to modify the setup and options of my Norton Family account on my laptop because the web page is very slow/resource consuming. The browser (Firefox in a recent version, Opera in a recent version) both tell me that the webpage is stalled and I should stop its code. I guess there is a lot of javascript behind that, and it is doing a lot of things.
I have tried on my family desktop computer, and the problem is roughly the same, though a bit better.
Have you also experienced such a problem ? Have you solved any problem like this one ?
I am using Norton Family to monitor my children’s access to computers and the Internet.
I find that the school mode is not efficient: it cannot prevent my child from playing with fortnite ! Which is exactly what I did not want (school time is for homework, not game playing…).
Have you experienced such situation ? What would you recommend doing ?

Regarding the slow/resource consumption issue, From our analysis, we didn’t observe slowness in the web pages for the same browser version. Could you please check if any extensions or local firewall is blocking the requests?
Regarding the school mode fortnite game issue, we noticed that the “Gaming” category (as part of house rules) is in the allowed list,
Please block “Gaming“ category (under Ëntertainment group) from Norton Family Websupervision settings from portal.
On the child machine, right click on Norton Family “TrayIcon” and click on “Update House Rules”
Clear the browser cache from child machine and check the games website, it should be blocked.
