When I try to make any updates to my settings on the norton family app I get a message that “we were unable to contact our servers”. It’s not working on wifi or cellular, I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still keep getting that message. This makes it impossible to remotely lock, allow websites that are blocked or make any changes to norton family if I am not at my computer. I am using an android phone and it worked seamlessly for years.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue since today. The Android app in parent mode (French beta channel - last update August 6) can no longer communicate with the single server.
Only alerts are received, but they can’t be processed.
However, Norton Status doesn’t report any server issues, and Norton Family seems to continue to be manageable via My.Norton.
I’m available if I need additional information to help the Norton Family team identify and resolve the issue.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
There was a temporary glitch in the backend server. This is resolved and I am able to modify settings in my account now through Android app.
