Norton Family - Bypassing ALL app and time blocking on Android cell phone

My child discovered that the Instant Lock, Blocked Time, & Blocked Apps "blocking" features in Norton Family can all be easily bypassed on a cell phone (Android 9.0 (Pie) - LG Stylo 5) by repeatedly clicking the Overview/Recent Apps button. The Norton Family warnings eventually disappear and my child can then use all apps and functions on the phone.  There are a few related discussions on here about this NF bug (AKA undocumented feature), but I haven't seen a fix discussed.
