Norton Family can be easily bypassed

I lately discovered a serious problem with Norton Family, it's just too simple to bypass and disable it. All you need to do is type WHATEVER email and password you want without an internet connection, and it gets disabled.

If for some reason that the Norton Family is uninstalled, the parent will get notified by alert notification.  We put in the notification safeguards.

I too get that message but only if the proxy is disconnected. In order to disable norton family, i entered the email and then a WRONG password without interent connection. It tried to verify whether the email and password were legitimate but since there was no interent connection, it showed up a small notification window saying something like "Norton family is not sure about your account information. If you continue, your parents will be sent a notification that you have disabled norton family. Do you want to continue?" If you select yes, the window disappear after a short while and the notification area icon turns grey showing that the filter has been disabled.

That's right.   If Norton Family is uninstalled, the program sends parent's an alert notifying the program has been uninstalled.

That would be true, but i didn't try to uninstall it. I only tried to disable it....

Not true, my son uninstalled it twice and I never received any notification.  The whole thing hasn't worked sinceI installed it.  I REALLY want this program to work!!  If the issue is not resolved and it doesn't work soon, I will be requesting a full refund!

You mentioned "hasn'ts worked since installed it....".  It sounds like the program hasn't been installed and configured correctly.  Please check out the Get Started file below to make sure you have setup your Norton Family account correctly.
