Is it true that the Norton Family plugin/extension is incompatible with Firefox 19.0.2? I don't see that on these boards, but all our Norton products are updated, and I still can't get the Family extension (browser plugin 2.6.0.52) to work. When my kids are using the computer, I constantly get messages that "The Norton Family browser plug-in was unexpectedly turned off" when it appears it's never on in the first place.
Secondary question: If the plugin IS incompatible with Firefox 19.0.2, is there a way to remote the browser plugin portion of Norton Family so I don't get emails all the time? My understanding is that it doesn't keep Safety Minder from working; it just monitors real-time activies, such as social media and video, and our kids aren't doing those things anyway. They are too young.
