Norton Family has a glitch and now wont work, please help

My Sons mobile is a Samsung A54 all up to date and has the latest version of Norton Family. 

I have disabled the settings and I have checked all the permissions are correct. 

I have even uninstalled the app and resinstalled to make sure. 

When apps are blocked, i'e settings, or when the phone is locked due to time restriction after 8pm. If any blocked app is pressed and opend it closes as it should. But if the same app is pressed again it will open and close as it should, but if this is continously done Norton will not close the app and the app will then open and be allowed to be used. 

Is this a glitch or something that I need to change within the settings. This means that my Son can just use his phone as normal but has to continously open an app until it opens. 

Please can someone advise as this is a new Samsung and is supported. Thank you

However, please be informed that there is no straight-forward way to prevent the child from replying via notifications, other than completely disabling all notifications for that messaging app.

We also periodically check on any additional settings that the manufacturer may provide to block or turn off smart replies and will add those restrictions to our product whenever its available.

Thank you, that would be a big help. 

There is another issue you could help with or impliment in a new release. 

If a message is sent to Whatsapp, message app, snapchat etc. Even if bubbles are blocked and out of hours if they pull down the screen from the top you can use 'Quick replies' to reply even if out of hours. I cant find how to turn this off without diabling notifications all together which is pointless.

It is difficult to pinpoint a reason as to why its happening all of a sudden. It might be possible that a recent update from the operating system of your child's device is interfering with our service and limiting it.
But rest assured that we are coming up with a fix, which will be made available to you soon.

But its worked before so why has is suddenly stopped. I cant even block the device. It renders norton useless it needs fixing now.

Kindly be noted that the issue that you mention is a rare occurrence, wherein the block screen fails to show up when the app is repeatedly tampered. However, in all prior instances of the same, it has been noticed that this is just a temporary issue and the block screen shows up again as soon as you interact with the app.

Nonetheless, we regret the inconvenience caused. We have worked on this issue and it will be available in our next release.
