Norton Family incomplete

Hi,

Via the search found a couple of quetsions about Linux. However, I cannot reply on any of them so, had to start this new thread.

Have seen questions back from 2009. Someone named Katie says to pass the question about Linux support to the management, but since then nothing seems to have changed?

Therefore here my 2 cts. First my setup here. Am a daddy of 4 kids, 2 of them old enough to use a pc. Both have their own pc. Both have an old P4. One with windows xp. just because he needed some specific software. otherwise he would have the same as his sister, namely linux. Now we use Zorin OS, but this is just a linux Mint derivate (and thus Ubuntu derivate).

I think more and more people will use a linux os (and mostly ubuntu or a derivate)  for pc's of their children or in a dualboot situation. The dorection windows 8 is heading to als leads me to believe that more people will swithc in the future.

But regardless of the numbers there simply lies a fact dat there are families, like mine, that cannot their parental security complete with symantec because of the lack of linux support. It cannot be thát hard since there 's a Mac version which should be at least partly reusable for building it I guess.

So please consider building an ubuntu like version?

Cheers, Eric

Hi tuckson,
