Issue abstract: Norton parent app stopped working

Detailed description: The Norton parental app installed and monitoring my child PC is not working after once I switched off the supervision and switched it back on. What should I do for the supervision to work again?

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them: Though my pc shows all controls in place, my daughter continues to use get PC despite me blocking and her usage shows zero hours and neither does any more alert come.

  1. Login to your child PC
  2. Right click on the “Norton Famiily“ Tray Icon
  3. Click on “Update House Rules“ menu to pull the latest house rules changes.

What if my child is located in another city and I cannot access her PC to update house rules.

The product is designed to update the house rules automatically when there are changes, however when there are issues we request users to use the “Update House Rules“ option to force the update. You could request your child to restart the PC once through which the house rules will be updated to the latest.
